Careers
We hire for curiosity, proactivity, and finish.
Studio
Social Media Intern
You will help decide how the studio sounds in public, which is a strange amount of trust to hand someone early. That is deliberate.
The role
You will plan and publish across our channels, cut work into formats that suit each platform, write captions that sound like a studio rather than a brand deck, and keep a running archive of what we ship. You will sit close to the people making the work, so the posts come from the process instead of a content calendar invented in isolation.
You will also report on what happened. Not vanity metrics for their own sake, but a short, honest read on what earned attention and what did not, and a guess at why.
We expect you to use AI where it genuinely saves time: transcribing, resizing, drafting variations, sorting an archive. We do not expect it to decide what we say. A generated caption is a starting point to argue with, never the thing that ships. If a post could have been written about any studio, it is not finished.
What we look for
We are less interested in a marketing degree than in evidence you have made something publicly and watched how people responded to it.
A feed, newsletter, zine, or channel you run yourself, at any scale
Writing that is clear and a little curious, with no filler
Comfort with basic editing: cropping, cutting video, exporting cleanly
An eye for design you can explain, even if you do not design yourself
Reliability about dates, because publishing is mostly a promise about timing
Design
Brand Designer
Identity work that has to survive contact with a real business, on real surfaces, long after the launch deck is closed.
The role
You will build identity systems end to end: type, colour, layout, motion principles, and the applications that prove the system works. You will sit in strategy conversations rather than receive their output, and you will be expected to argue for a direction with reasons a client can repeat internally.
You will also do the unglamorous half of the job well: documenting decisions, extending systems to surfaces nobody demoed, and making sure the work still holds when a junior marketer builds a slide at midnight.
AI belongs in your workflow, not in your judgement. Use it to explore territory quickly, clean up production tasks, and pressure test a direction. Then make the actual decisions yourself, because a model trained on what already worked is a poor guide to being distinctive. We will ask you which parts of a project were accelerated and which were authored, and we expect a clear answer.
What we look for
Range matters more than years. Show us systems, not only posters.
A portfolio with at least one identity you can walk through decision by decision
Genuine typographic control, including the boring cases like tables and forms
Comfort designing for the web, not only for static presentation
Writing ability, because verbal identity is part of the work here
A view on where craft matters most, and where it is being performed
